DIS team win Loughborough University Enterprise Award for research into solutions for hi-tech policing

Dr Tom Jackson, Dr Louise Cooke and Dr Rachel Lindsay have won the Loughborough University Enterprise Award for research into ways to realise the potential of mobile technology to make policing faster and more efficient. The project involved the selection and acceptance of Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) which allow officers to remotely access police systems thereby enabling officers to manage the time they spend in the community much more efficiently.
