Dr. Jonathan Levitt’s activities at ASIST 2011.

At the ASIST meeting held in New Orleans in October 2011, Dr. Levitt: (a) Organised and participated on a panel called ‘Using information obtained through informetrics to address practical problems and to aid decision making’ (panel members: Judit Bar-Ilan, Jonathan Levitt, Katherine McCain, Debora Shaw, Dietmar Wolfram, (b) Was invited to participate on a panel called ‘Bibliometrics and LIS education: How do they fit together?’ (panel members: Judit Bar Ilan, Jamshid Beheshti, Jonathan Levitt, Howard White, Dietmar Wolfram) and (c) Was invited to be an Instructor on a Workshop called ‘Metrics 2011 – Symposium on Informetric and Scientometric Research.
